We are looking for creatives from various fields to join this project, which combines respect for tradition with artistic innovation. Through the reinterpretation of seven certified traditional crafts — Bonecos de Estremoz, Embroidery of Castelo Branco, Camisola Poveira, Figurado de Barcelos, Filigree of Portugal, Rush of Forjães, Bobbin Lace of Vila do Conde — come help revitalise and enrich our cultural heritage.
How to Participate:
Creativity and Respect for Tradition: We seek artists who can breathe new life into traditional crafts by incorporating modern elements and innovative techniques, without losing the essence of ancestral practices.
Artistic Diversity: We aim to gather creatives from various fields of the Creative Industries, including: graphic or product design, fashion and textiles, photography and videography, literature and poetry, music and performance, digital technology and new media, animation and digital games, culinary arts and gastronomy, advertising and marketing, robotics and engineering, bio art and sustainable art, street art and graffiti, contemporary jewellery and art installations.
Submission Process: Send us a sketch or a simple proposal of your reinterpretation. After initial approval, you will have the opportunity to develop your final piece, which will be showcased in photos or artwork on our platform.
