Graduated in Communication Sciences from the Universidade Fernando Pessoa and holding a postgraduate degree in Family Business Law from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Patrícia Sá Carneiro is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Creative Industries Management. Throughout her career, she has been closely connected to communication, editorial work, and the arts, demonstrating great sensitivity to artistic creation and the social impact of culture.
An artist since 1992, she has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions and is represented in prestigious collections such as those of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, the Eugénio de Almeida Foundation, and the Unesco Centre. Her work has been recognised in publications such as “Contemporary Portuguese Painting – 100 Painters” (Chancela Real, 2008) and “Chronicle of Fifty Years of Creative and Propagating Cultural Impulse” (Fundação Engenheiro António de Almeida, 2019).
As a columnist for Notícias da Maia, she shows a keen interest in research on gender inequality.
In addition to her artistic and editorial activities, she is the founder and Creative Director of the Azul Cobalto Art ® project, a space that unites art, education, and social inclusion. In this capacity, Patrícia Sá Carneiro has been an active art educator in the Brigadas T project, organised by Espaço T – Association for the Support of Social and Community Integration, where she works as a cultural mediator and programme coordinator. Her research also focuses on art therapy, with inclusive, experimental, and sustainable artistic practices, reflecting her commitment to social transformation through art.
